I had someone ask me what modules this site uses. The list is relatively short compared to some of the sites I've set up. I didn't list the core modules that are required, but the optional ones are listed. So here goes: CCK

  • Content - I needed this module to add the web link content type

Core - Optional

  • Color - Changed the color of the theme to a dark blue
  • Comment - Enables comments
  • Contact - Enables the contact form
  • Help - Enables Drupal's help
  • Menu - Enables the menu system
  • Path - Enables renaming of the URL path
  • Ping - Pings certain websites upon creation of content
  • Profile- Adds a profile field to make Adsense Module work
  • Search - Adds the search functionality
  • Taxonomy - Enables the category system in Drupal
  • Tracker - Enables tracking of posts
  • Upload - Allows you to upload pictures

 In future posts I will explaining how and why I am using some of these modules for my Drupal site. I also have used a lot more modules than these and I plan on having future posts on those as well.

New site that Reviews Drupal Modules

It is very good to see that you people have given out what modules you use. There is a new website that reviews Drupal Modules its www.durpalmodules.com.
