Books on Drupal
There are a few books on Drupal and they range from everything for the beginner to everything for the advanced. I have a page devoted to Drupal books that are available for purchase along with a review on each of them.

Welcome To DrupalDude.comSubmitted by Drupal Dude on Tue, 07/10/2007 - 11:12pm.Welcome to my new site! I started using Drupal in late 2006. The more I used it and learned, the more I loved it. Before that I was using WordPress for my blog. WordPress worked great, but I soon out grew it's capabilities for my projects that were not blogs, so I went on the hunt for a new content management system. I've heard about Drupal through the TWIT podcast, and I have a good friend who recommended that I take a look at Drupal. I installed it and played with it and I thought 'wow, this is complicated.' So I kept looking for other CMS systems. Drupal upgraded to 4.7, so I decided to take another look. I liked what I saw. Either I was getting more comfortable with php and css or Drupal was maturing, probably both. I started building some sites in Drupal and then 5.0 came out. I was sold! I liked how the core system was progressing at a nice speed. I liked how the modules were progressing and being updated for version 5 at an incredible speed. I am used to third party modules taking a lot longer to get updated. Within six months most of the modules that I used in my 4.7 installations were upgraded to 5. Rock on! Now move forward to today. I've played around with a lot of themes, installed a lot of modules, and even had some modules created for me. One thing I have consistently found is that the documentation is not the best for some of the modules. Hopefully with screenshots, movies, and articles, I can shed some light for fellow Drupal enthusiasts. Here are a few of the sites I have put together. My goal is to show everyone how I achieved some of the functionality in these sites and more. Working Couples See you around! Trackback URL for this post:http://www.drupaldude.com/trackback/1
