Books on Drupal

There are a few books on Drupal and they range from everything for the beginner to everything for the advanced. I have a page devoted to Drupal books that are available for purchase along with a review on each of them.

I had some link Issues

Well it looks like I had some link issues. Some links were giving 404 errors... sorry about that! I think I have it all resolved now.

If you see something that isn't working properly, please let me know. Thanks!

Updated Videos... What Do You Think?

I made the latest video on the Path Module a little more fancy with graphics and music.

My question is... do you like the music in the background going through the whole video? Or should I take it out completely when I speak?

Let me know by comments or through the contact form. Thanks!

I had the Wrong Video for the Contact Module Tutorial

Well, it looks like I had the wrong video up on YouTube for the Contact Module tutorial. If you watched it all the way through, you will see that I stopped at the end with no conclusion.... oops! So I have uploaded the new video and hopefully all is good.

What Modules DrupalDude.com Uses

I had someone ask me what modules this site uses. The list is relatively short compared to some of the sites I've set up. I didn't list the core modules that are required, but the optional ones are listed. So here goes:

Welcome To DrupalDude.com

Welcome to my new site! I started using Drupal in late 2006. The more I used it and learned, the more I loved it. Before that I was using WordPress for my blog. WordPress worked great, but I soon out grew it's capabilities for my projects that were not blogs, so I went on the hunt for a new content management system.

I've heard about Drupal through the TWIT podcast, and I have a good friend who recommended that I take a look at Drupal. I installed it and played with it and I thought 'wow, this is complicated.' So I kept looking for other CMS systems.

Drupal upgraded to 4.7, so I decided to take another look. I liked what I saw. Either I was getting more comfortable with php and css or Drupal was maturing, probably both. I started building some sites in Drupal and then 5.0 came out. I was sold!
